The 'turmeric sunrise' - The ultimate brightly coloured, anti-inflammatory drink!<br />

<div>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>5-7 Oranges - juiced on an orange juicer</li>
<li>5-12cm Turmeric</li>
<li>1 Large stick of celery</li>
<li>1-2 red peppers</li>
<li>Half a teaspoon of powdered, or cracked black pepper corns</li>
<li>Optional (if you like the fire) Pinch of ceyenne</li>
</ul>
<div>
Put everything other than oranges through the juicer, I use a masticating 'oscar 900' which crushes the juice out of the cells but a centrifugal juicer will work fine. </div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This recipe combines the healing power of curcumin (in turmeric, not to be confused with cumin) and 'piperine' found in black pepper corns. These two substances compliment each other as the benefits of combining results in much better absorption and assimilation of the curcumin. This juice gives you a very uplifting, warming and nourishing feeling instantly and puts you into the now!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>

Well, curcumin is one of the best studied herbs, and is one of the few substances that can cross the blood brain barrier. It's no wonder it has been linked to better brain function, anti-depression and improved memory! It has a very powerful anti-oxidant profile, powerful enough to effectively reduce and slow the ageing process, by buffering the oxidation of DNA and the oxidative stress of eating cooked foods! Often if I do eat cooked food, I will put the powder onto steamed vegetables, potatoes and put the pulp into a curry. It's one of the most well studied herbs, with a lot of research showing it's effectiveness in regards to treating diseases partly caused by low level inflammation, like alzheimer's, cancer and rheumatoid arthritis. It has cooling, cleansing and healing effects on the kidneys, liver, gallbladder and intestines which can on holistically cultivate health in a diseased body. For example I have noticed my joints, skin and mental clarity to be much improved shortly after a few days on a turmeric juicing protocol. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Historically the Indian population had very low rates of bowel cancer, probably due to various things like preferable squatting positions and a predominantly plant based diet. It seems widely thought that turmeric has a strong role to play in this. It's be shown to be more effects than many depressants, and anti-inflammatory drugs without the collateral damage associated with those pharmaceuticals. I drink a LOT of turmeric, often pure SHOTS! The only issue I have found with the herb is that it stains everything! So try not to ruin to stain everything orange ;)</div>

<div>
Another recipe worth trying (I have Zaheer to thank for this one) is:</div>
<div>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>Turmeric</li>
<li>Mango</li>
<li>black pepper</li>
</ul>
<div>
Blended into a smoothie. So be creative and infuse turmeric into your lifestyle and reap the benefits. I would like to hear of any other creative ways that you might use it!</div>

There's something very satisfying about re-creating classic food without the use of heat. It's challenging as flavours can act in subtle or drastically different ways than their cooked food cousins. This usually means employing the use of slightly different ingredients, processes or amounts to create the right taste. Texture also needs to be well considered and can completely make or break a dish.<br />
<br />
The satisfaction comes from not just re-creating the originals, but improving on them. Recently we've acquired a dehydrator to experiment with making more gourmet food after being inspired after connoisseuring raw dishes at 'Nama' and 'saf' in London.<br />

Roughly chop everything into smallish chunks and add to a bowl. I like to have larger pieces of tomato for extra flavour. Mix in the ground flax and work it together with your hands until it begins to thicken up and bind together. You can also add in soaked walnuts / almonds but I decided to try a nut free version.<br />
<br />
Once it's looking something like this, add the mixture to a food processor and turn it on for roughly 30 seconds to a minute until it starts clumping up and become a finer texture. You might need to do this a few times if you have a lot of mix.<br />
<br />
Now pop it into a dehydrator, put the temperature up to 140F for about 30 minutes to really get them going. This is hotter than the standard Degrees 110F that is the threshold for keeping enzymes intact, but the mix itself won't go this warm as long as you turn it down to 110 after 30 mins. Depending on the texture you desire you can eat them now, or leave them for another 6-12 hours to dry out some more on a lower temp. I left mine for 12 hours and they still had a good balance of soft to dryness.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />
<b>For the ketchup</b><br />
Blend 3 tbsp of raw apple cider vinegar with 6 tomatoes, 1/4 cup sundried tomatoes, small piece of beetroot, handful of goji berries, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder and half of a small diced red onion.<br />
<br />
Serve on a juicy lettuce leaf, with sliced tomatoes and red onion. This recipe makes about 8-12 burgers depending on how big you want to make them. You could even make falafel's with the same mixture. Sprinkle on some chopped chives or herbs of your picking to finish. You could also make a avocado mayo or raw hummus to go with these as well. They'll last a few weeks in a good container in the fridge! <span style="font-size: x-large;">Banging</span></div>

<b>The time has come and I'm excited to have a water fasting experience</b><br />
<b><br /></b>
I've been experimenting with juice fasting and cleansing for a while but I've never tried water fasting. but from what I've read, heard from friends and from reading other peoples accounts, It is clearly one of the best ways to clean and regenerate the body.<br />
<br />
One of the reasons I'm doing it is because of the onset of dupuytrens in my hands which I believe has been aggravated by climbing. I've made a very hard decision to stop climbing until I can see some positive results. I'm aware this will take a long period of time unlike many other common tweaks. It is a condition that can pull the fingers in eventually. Unfortunately it doesn't have many conclusive cures other than surgery which is only a temporary solution. From what I've read on the internet on various forums, the only few people I have found to have had positive results in reversing it are people that have employed the effects of an alkaline diet, systemic enzymes (which ill be looking into) or fasting. Dr Morse describes it as a lymphatic issue, meaning the lymph isn't moving properly in the hand and arms which results in a low oxygen, acidic environment. For me this has caused the palmer fascia tissue to grow abnormally into scar tissue.<br />
<br />
I've had a lot of osteo and massage sessions to relieve my body of various imbalances recently and the results have been great so far, reversing some scoliosis in my spine and completely changing my posture. I'm also having a mercury filling removed. It's made me more conscious on the state of my body. I feel that if I can go at it holistically, then I can creating a better environment for my body to heal itself overall anyway. Many people with Dupuytrens take a very disempowered approach and quickly accept it will get worse and this is no surprise when you look at the western treatments for it. Recently I've not seen any progression in the dupuytrens which has been getting worse throughout the winter. I'm staying positive and empowered, because the mind and attitude can have amazing effects on the immune and nervous system.<br />
<br />
<b>More about fasting</b><br />
<b><br /></b>
My understanding is, the longer you fast, the deeper you're able to move the lymphatic system and regenerate tissues. It can also have the desirable, or non desirable effect of bringing up emotions, buried or surpassed spiritual issues and past memories. It's a time for reflection, solitude and time alone with your mind and core self. There's many testimonials out there of people reversing cancer, tumorous tissues, diabetes, food allergies, addictions, arthritis deafness and a whole array of serious medical conditions. This all sounds really great, but of course we live in a culture that associates a lot of taboo and dogma with fasting because we associate it with starving, which it most definitely isn't. I'm lucky to have supportive family and friends around which should make the whole experience much smoother.<br />

This negativity towards fasting might be because it's not part of, or profitable enough for the 'health care' (or sick care) <b>industry</b>,<b> </b>which funds medical studies and the education / indoctrination of health professionals for their own monetary benefits. However that's a deep issue on it's own, and I would recommend reading 'Big Pharma' by Jacky Law if you want to find out much of the distortion of health and information by drug companies. Despite this, physicians and western M.D's are no longer ignoring the healing power of fasting. In recent times even those looking through the lens of western medical science are starting to see the undeniable positive health effects and there are various fasting clinics. This is much to do with it's rise in popularity by self empowered individuals in recent years. <br />

This is true for both animals and humas and fairly agreed upon by experts, spiritualists, scientists in both eastern and western hemispheres. Let alone the amount of reference to it in the essene and various religious texts. Many experts in fasting have expanded on this, saying it's the digestive stress, that inhabits the bodies ability to heal. This makes it appear to be calories, which will of course have a vague correlation with the ageing process This is why many of the experts on fasting recommend eating food that causes the least amount of digestive energy, which allows to free up energy for vital problems and tissue repair. For example it is thought that eating more of easy to digest food, will have require less energy than (perhaps even less calories) eaten of dense, processed foods. The foods that cause little digestive stress is raw, organic, heirloom and ripe fruits and juices, closely followed by raw vegetables then nuts and seeds. Many of these scientists and doctors also mostly agree upon the fact that eating food perverted by heat or processing also have a very acidic and stressful effect of the body.<br />
<br />
Remember this is not starvation, the body has plenty of stored fat that can be used to feed the energy requirments during periods of no food. You will be informed by signs that you are ready to eat again. Most people can go for at least 2 weeks, even very skinny people. There have been accounts of 70 and 90 day water fasts, with the first 4 days being the hardest. So heres my account, I hope it makes for interesting reading!<br />
<br />
<b>Day 1</b><br />
<br />
I woke up feeling good, but then why shouldn't I when I don't usually eat much in the morning! I had a craving for my standard morning sweet date and banana smoothie, but this passed about an hour later. Around 4pm, I felt slightly low on energy and a bit spacey. This is probably due to doing intense yoga and going out and about my day, running around the house sorting a few things out as normal. I met my mum and we went to glastonbury to fill up storage containers with fresh spring water. This was a great idea, but it did mean some heavy lifting of 30 Litre containers and slight exertion! However on the way back I felt lucid and charged up again, which continued into the rest of the evening.<br />
<br />
Notes: I realised just how much time I spend thinking or preparing food and washing up during a normal day. I wasn't sure what to do with the extra time. It was a liberating feeling I'll need to get used to. This had me thinking about how much we are subject to our subconscious cycles we operate on without thinking. Moment to moment, hour to hour, week to week and so on, and that breaking these cycles is not easy.<br />
<br />
<b>Day 2</b><br />
<br />
I woke up feeling <b>not</b> so great! Low energy, quite drowsy and not much apetite. Already wondering how hard this is going to be, but at the same time this could be withdrawals from addictions, routine and parasites or even a due to a large dislodge of heavy metals/toxins into my blood stream waiting for elimination. When I went to the toilet I noticed my tongue was bright white, and I had dark urine even though I've been drinking a lot of water! I'll be drinking around 3 - 4 litres a day. So anyway, after scraping the thick layer off, it confirmed my suspicions that I was already detoxing quite heavily. I'm taking it as a good sign that my body is actively ready and willing to get on moving out toxins.<br />
<br />
I've done a fruit juice fast before, which lasted 20 days, and again it kept my tongue fairly white (no where near as much as it is now though!) with a layer of a fowl smelling mucus. The tongue is usually the first sign that your body is going into a detoxing state. This is agreed upon by most experts. What I need to look out for, is for the tongue to return to a red or pinkish colour like normal which is a sign that the body is ready for food again.<br />
<br />
By the afternoon, I was feeling much better and less turbulent, however I found myself looking up recipes and started writing delicious salad dressings down. I watched fruit hunters too which made my appetite return, not to mention the food I could smell in the house!<br />
<br />
<b>Day 3</b><br />
<b><br /></b>
Woke up and the sun is shinning! Feeling good, not too hungry this morning. I had a nice sunbathe in my room as it's south facing, then went outside and sunbathed some more. I feel like I'm quite clear headed compared to yesterday. Hunger in the form of basic cravings come and go, no help to the smells of food wafting up the house into my room.<br />
<br />
<b>Day 4</b><br />
Feeling quite weak today. I had some energy by the afternoon and did some gardening, planting some sprouted spinach and Kale. I weighed myself and I've lost a stone! So I'm now down to just under 9 stone. Never fear though, I should have most of my weight back on a few weeks after im eating again. My apetite is definitely disappearing, surprisingly!<br />

</tbody></table>
<br />
<b>Day 5</b><br />
Today I woke up feeling good! I started reading 'Parasite Rex' by Carl Zimmer. By the afternoon I started feeling a bit delirious and low on energy, probably partly due to learning the fascinating and horrifying life of tape worms and flukes! I just rested today and went to bed feeling still a little bit ill. Having head rushes every time I stand up. Stomach doesn't feel good.<br />
<br />
Note: Haven't had much trouble sleeping so far, making sure the window is open and getting early nights.<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>Day 6 </b><br />
Woke up feeling pretty much the same as yesterday, not good!! Feeling very delicate. Luckily for me it's Jo's day off so she's wasting her time with me :) I carried on feeling drowsy all day, almost finished Parasite Rex. I'm wondering if worms are going to start crawling out of me! Apetite is no where in sight.<br />
<br />
<b>Day 7 </b><br />
BOOOM, Feeling good today! Clear headed and lots of energy, almost feel like I could go for a long hike or do some cardio. I'm glad I saw through the last couple of days. Today I've been gardening and sorting the house out a bit. Still no apetite though. When I feel like this it makes me want to carry on for weeks, if only! I've noticed my skin has got a LOT clearer. My beard has grown a lot too!! Something pretty ace is that my joints have never felt so good. My fingers have no inflammation and scar tissue in one of my joints seems to be causing me no trouble to bend it all the way back, which has not been the case since I started climbing 5 years ago. I feel this is now the time the fast is starting to have some good results. I'm breaking the fast in two days time, and it's important to break it properly and slowly. I've added lemon juice to my water today, which is a beautiful taste after consuming such a flat palette.<br />
<br />
<b>Day 8, the day it happened..</b><br />
The last day! Although I feel really high on energy this morning. So much so I started off the morning with the powertools in the garden sawing wood and constructing a table. I felt so energized I was even taking fridges up and down stairs for half the day as were switching up appliances. I then continued to tidy up and hoover all the rooms in our house.<br />
<br />
I then felt the need for a number 2, which took me by surprise as I haven't had anything in my stomach for the last 8 days. So I went to the loo and sat down.<br />
<br />
Warning: <b>Graphic</b> in depth details. Do not continue reading if you're squeemish!<br />
<br />
I knew it wasn't going to be a normal one, I could just...tell. So I ended up on the toilet for 3 hours!! Tomo wasn't very happy as he couldn't get to his tooth-brush, but I couldn't move! Considering I usually have a very easy going 'flow' due to all the fruit I eat this was quite startling. The time I was slowly pooing out very dark, and fairly dense stool. It was unpleasant to say the least! Especially as my legs were loosing circulation from sitting there for so long. I felt nautious and I was in a fair bit of pain!<br />
<br />
After It was over I looked down, and I knew it wasn't going to be pretty! It was almost a fully black colour, with small white moving strings wiggling round. Worms! Yes I had just 'released' a bunch of worms. I knew from much reading of parasitologists, that everyone has a good handful of worms and almost everyone has a tape worm or two, but it was still quite alarming. I'm also very aware that they often come out when fasting. The stool itself was so dark, I believe it was intestinal plaque that had come loose. I had been drinking a few lemons a few days before I finished the fast to help dissolve anything left in there and ease myself back into eating.<br />
<br />
The amazing thing was, I didn't even think I needed to go to the toilet until 5 minutes before, and I felt completely empty. Looking back I have a feeling on day 5 and 6 all that movement and bubbling in my stomach might have been all that junk in my guts dislodging itself.<br />
<br />
Heres a very interesting (mostly raw, vegan) parasitologist by the name of Dr Cassar or (Dr Bazzar) Talking about parasites.<br />

<br />
<br />
<b>Breaking the fast and the days after</b><br />
<b><br /></b>
On the 9th day, I woke up and knew I would be putting calories back in. I didn't have an apetite still but I start work in a few days and need energy so I broke my fast with lime in fresh young green coconut water. In the afternoon I had some orange juice and ate some prunes to aid my digestive tract along. I feel like I could keep going for a long time. I'm down to just under 8.5 stone, after being just over 9.5 at the start but that weight should be back on in not too long. I think next year I'll try and make time for a much longer fast, I would hope to try 30 days at least. As it's now spring, and the weather is warming, I'll be sticking to 99% raw and upping liquid intake. I'm feeling much more clear headed and there has been obvious benefits for my skin, joints, sinuses, alertness and flexibility. The Dupuytrens seems very similar, but I didn't expect it to go. As a guess I think it would take a very long fast to see changes in such a tissue build up. I'm hoping my absorption will increase and my body will now be in a better place to heal such things.<br />
<br />
Perhaps the biggest thing I learnt, was how much of my hunger is cravings, cravings which are beyond true hunger. I believe it takes a long time to notice the distinction within yourself. It's about breaking cycles, and I believe the motivation comes from the understanding gained through such abstaining experiences.<br />

So here are my raw veggie burgers created from the left over pulp from my juicer. I added paprika, fresh and dried oregano and sesame seeds. They're delicious! However, I can picture certain pulp combinations not working so well. I used the oven on the lowest setting for about 3 hours, which works well although I think it's pretty close to the threshold for being 'raw'. <br /><br />I usually put the pulp in the composter and then into my veg beds as it breaks down so fast and makes some of the best rich soil for growing more veg :) </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Recently I've been practising meditation, looking to re discover my innate intuition and to remove fear in as many aspects of my life as possible. Not to sayI'm anywhere near that..I have a whole lifetime of subconscious deprogramming to do but the intent is there. It's easy to get locked into the left brain mind and compartmentalise all things, keeping blinkers on and never connecting dots. And so I think it's important to re learn how to follow ones heart consciousness and see the wider picture. I've found that letting my heart be my guide is a much easier and more enjoyable way to go about your day/life etc but like I say, the mind always creeps back in to make things complex again.</div>

<span style="text-align: left;"> To anyone wondering about a significant date coming up, here are some great insights. A much more realistic and positive explanation of the so called 'dooms day' 'end of the world'date of the 21st of this month than many other mainstream sources will describe. </span></div>

<div>
<div>
So last night I made a gourmet raw meal for our friends Tomar and Kerstin. The desert was my creation after having seeing this recipe recently. I modified a few of the ingredients and it went down nicely. The cool thing is this only takes 15 minutes to make!! And it's low in fat and pretty healthy!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
For the pie crust you will need (roughly):</div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8326/8118617388_bf8b16ae6e.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8326/8118617388_bf8b16ae6e.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
10 medjool dates</div>
<div>
1.5 cups of pecans or walnuts</div>
<div>
1 tea spoon of vanilla extract</div>
<div>
1 pinch of nutmeg</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Put everything into a food processor and leave on for a few minutes until you have a dough!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Optional: Blueberries, mulberries etc. This adds a variety of berry flavoured goodness. I'd like to try and experiment with a full berry no nut crust on the next one!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8463/8118602357_2b9633f52e.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="216" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8463/8118602357_2b9633f52e.jpg" width="320" /></a><a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8469/8118603793_9b2de1d106.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="134" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8469/8118603793_9b2de1d106.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div>
Pat it out evenly into a pie tray with warm water and clean fingers / spoon. This is where I would have added a bed of sliced bananas, that's the next step!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8330/8118600365_8e8a68e720.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8330/8118600365_8e8a68e720.jpg" width="214" /></a></div>
<div>
For the filling:</div>
<div>
4 cups of pumpkin</div>
<div>
4 bananas</div>
<div>
10 more dates</div>
<div>
Half a Vanilla pod scarped</div>
<div>
A small cut of fresh ginger</div>
<div>
Goji Berries </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Blend until perfectly smooth. Our Vitamix did this well but I can imagine cheaper blenders struggling a bit. As I said above, add a bed of chopped bananas to the pie at this point. Make sure they're ripe and sweet. I just added a bit of ginger powder to the base here. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Go ahead and pour the mixture on top. Then decorate with the vanilla bean and nuts etc. Leave it in the freezer or fridge for it to set some more if it's too soft. A thick texture is best and you can eat right away!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The result!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Dr Robert Morse just uploaded this video tonight. I had to share it, a brilliant speech on Spirituality Vs Academics. It may be a little heavy for a few but it's a great reminder that we live in a very academic world where spirituality and experience are often pushed aside. We all see it everyday, and for sure there is a place and need for academia. However the empowerment and knowledge through spirituality is on a far greater scale. To any atheists watching, keep in mind he is a spiritual teacher, and talks about God in non religious and metaphorical terms. I'll do less of the power phrasing and point you over to the video for a better understanding.<br />

<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8457/8053177979_9b064373f8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8457/8053177979_9b064373f8.jpg" width="266" /></a>For the past two months myself and Rory have started to realize our dream of having a wooden training wall in our back room. Winter training was on the cards for some trips next year. The plan was to make it as steep as the room would allow and as wide as possible. Our landlord is very tolerant and relaxed with us and the house as long as we have respect with whatever we do. Since we moved in we've put in shelves and a campus board, modified things in the garden etc and they have been perfectly fine about it. Our wall would require a few screws into the roof on the floor rafters and about 15 x 1cm wall fixings along the back. Nothing we can't easily poly-filler and plaster upon removal.<br />
<br />
We were lucky enough to get all the panels we needed from TCA when they modified the wall over the summer. This meant we saved money and a lot of time putting in T-nuts. Simon Brice kindly gave us a few metres of 2x4 beams and Gav gave us a load of wall fixings and various essentials too so with all this help we saved a significant amount. The rest of the 2x4, probably about 40 metres worth, we got for £75. Joe Day gave us a good starting plan and Mike Sowell was a massive help in giving us a hand with some of the technicalities with the tools and plan of action. With all this professional help and guidance we began the build!<br />
<br />
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8320/8053186848_0e601a58d1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="215" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8320/8053186848_0e601a58d1.jpg" width="320" /></a>First up we had some major amount of prep in the form of belt sanding the large panels. This was probably the most hard work of the entire build, requiring many shifts from us both and a lot of arm endurance. We had to pull a lot of T-nuts out and replace them for good ones. The garden was also coated in an inch of saw dust and ziggy hated the noise of the power tools. A few days later they were done and we moved onto sawing up the ply triangles.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8169/8053189900_0708d9cfc9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="134" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8169/8053189900_0708d9cfc9.jpg" width="200" /></a><a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8039/8053183157_b9b741427f.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="134" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8039/8053183157_b9b741427f.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
We applied the brackets and made the 90 degree vertical pieces that would go into the masonry vertical wall. We then spent a day drilling and getting all the fixings in as solid and as accurately as possible. There were a few moments when we drilled and only black dust came out meaning less bolts in places, but in all we were happy and it still felt a bit over engineered. Next we secured some ply triangles and made the roof pieces rigid.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8321/8053186384_0224decb5f.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="135" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8321/8053186384_0224decb5f.jpg" width="200" /></a><a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8319/8053179495_82382fb5b0.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="134" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8319/8053179495_82382fb5b0.jpg" style="cursor: move;" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Next up was time to put in the overhanging frame, measured with string and sawed in a fairly ghetto fashion and with a few moments of that doesnt quite fit in the way we thought it should, and a bit of creative use with the chisel we had the overhang in. I then went on a mission and the next couple of days I managed to get all the panels on, more supports made on the inside and screw a horizontal across the roof and into the floor rafters above. I then made a small room inside the wall to store bikes and boxes. It came together pretty quickly taking about 7 days of prep and building effort. We need to get a lot more holds and sell a few too. The plan is to make it primarily a woody with with the exception of a few nice bleaustone resin slopers and and mini jugs for warming up. We've ordered some 'Magic Wood' wooden holds, these are the same that we have at TCA and are amazing on the skin and for a good training effect. Check them out there <a href="http://magicwoodclimbingholds.blogspot.co.uk/">BLOG</a>. More photos of the build on my <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/rawtris/">Flickr</a><br />

So on the 12th of September I decided to go on a juice fast cleanse. I was inspired to do this by many raw food teachers on youtube, friends and books and blogs of others i've read about fasting. I wouldn't technically call it a fast in a way as you still get a lot of calories. It Just gives your digestive system a huge break. As the house mates had gone to Greece for two weeks I was left with plenty of time and space to juice all day and relax, This would also be down time on the climbing and vigorous activity. I made sure to stock up on essentials like grapes, water melons, apples, celery cucumbers and greens etc.As I was without a car I had to cycle to Sunseed Organics every morning and pile my bag up with as much stuff possible!<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8314/8049836814_83c15d92f6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="134" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8314/8049836814_83c15d92f6.jpg" width="200" /></a><a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8172/8049831277_6f1aecb44f.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="134" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8172/8049831277_6f1aecb44f.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
Anyway the it went really well, I only struggled the first few days, and had mild detox symptoms and cravings. I was very surprised that cravings were not that bad. If I wanted food, I would make a juice and It would be surprisingly satiating and leave me with no hunger. On average I would get through 4-5L of juice a day and that kept me feeling very perky. In fact I decided to go for some climbing sessions after ten days in and to my surprise I felt very strong, managing a few font 7b and above boulders in one session!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8172/8049879361_0278ae225f.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="128" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8172/8049879361_0278ae225f.jpg" width="200" /></a><a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8321/8049838779_aa1d2bb744.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="134" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8321/8049838779_aa1d2bb744.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Even in 20 days I noticed my skin is a lot smoother, the dark bits under my eyes have faded slightly and the clarity in my mind is awesome. With so much blood being free'd up from the GI tract it is surprising how much more conscious you can feel throughout the day. It also free's up a lot of energy to go into healing various organs in the body, essentially getting things like adrenals to perk up, kidneys to filter better, circulation increases, moving the lymphatic system and dissolving toxins.<br />
I also lost over half a stone, mostly in the first week which then levelled off, and i actually increased a few kilos in weight again after 15 days. This is probably due to a lot of food being moved through the stools, but also absorption goes up a lot after a week juice fasting, meaning weight can actually come back on, especially if you're drinking as much as I was! I also noticed my body fat dropped and I got a lot more lean and my skin was a lot more vascular. I'll be sticking to raw foods from now on and will be investing in a masticating juicer to get the most out of the produce with as little oxidisation as possible. The magimix duo XL has served well but does struggle with the leafy greens!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8462/8049830759_01c7639ce1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8462/8049830759_01c7639ce1.jpg" width="134" /></a><a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8040/7995123301_6c68f80c68.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="134" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8040/7995123301_6c68f80c68.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
I've also gone and got a vegan tattoo, something i've been thinking about for a long time. Mike used Kumo Sumi and other vegan friendly tattoo inks, and the aftercare I'm using is also made of essential oils. Veganism Is something I like talking about with people who show positive genuine curiosity towards it. In fact after one day I've already had a few people noticing it and a few newly turned vegans asking me about it. It's good to see there are more people finding benefits from a diet rich in high quality plant food free of dead animal tissues and dairy.<br />

Both well worth a read for inspiration. I'll lend them to anyone interested.<br />

I would recommend people to read through The Detox Miracle Source Book before doing any kind of fast. It is probably one of the best references you can go to for all food types, alkaline and acid, organ functions and how it is all interlinked and affected by one another. Dr Robert Morse has over 40 years of experience in the field curing many toxic human problems like 'diseases' and cancers through his tissue detox and regeneration clinic. I have been using Earthpaste, a natural rehydrated clay with essential oils, xylatol and sea salt. It's got a great flavour, is flouride, SLS and Glycerin free and edible! Also good to use on the skin and hair if you want. It's been about a year since I've done any bouldering outside, the last time being the trip to font which I made a video about. To my surprise it has almost 10k views on youtube now! Yesterday we went to Dinas rock, we being myself, Rory and Kelly. It was the first time for Kelly my second time there after a cheeky session there for the first time last week. The weather was drizzly and wet, the day before had been torrential rain too.. but according to Rory Dinas is *northern accent* "An all weather crag". We arrived and everything on the walk in was soaked.. but the man was right, Kennelgarth wall was completely dry, other than some slightly seeping holds. The waterfall was blasting and much more vicious than the last week after all the rain.<br />
<br />
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8301/7883452662_3070a7119b_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="216" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8301/7883452662_3070a7119b_b.jpg" width="320" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Flashing Mongrel Mob V7</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
We warmed up on some V1's/3's and quickly moved onto some V6's. Rory did 'The mongrel mob' V7 and I managed to flash it, with it being the first flash of that grade for me. Good start! Then me and Kelly moved onto 'launch pad' V6, taking a fair few more goes than I'd hoped! I had a play on 'Fat cat roof' V9, a line i'd like to try and project. I did all the moves, but struggling to string it together. It was a lot more slippery than the week before. Rory was doing well on his projects, making tracks on 'The Carpenters apprentice' V12 and 'Fat Cat into Taylor made' V10. He was also on 'Saluki' a V8+ which has a bit of an awkward cross under move to finish on to the undercut of 'Launch Pad' V6.<br />
<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Kelly on the crux of 'The Groove' V7</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
Next up was 'The Groove' a painful V7 which requires you to take two limestone teeth, like a pocket, jamming your fingers together and making a strong move from this. I went for the flash, and almost did it, tearing some skin on the teeth! I wrapped up the fingers and did it second go, just! Rory then dispatched it and Kelly came up with some technical beta and managed to do it all, but somehow fell off going from the jug after the crux, the the slot finishing jug! Too much skin had been eaten, so this one will have to be next time, first go, no doubt!<br />
<br />
The sun came out for a bit, and it seemed like the luscious light that you get in font! We finished on 'Paper Boy' V6, which was proving to be a bit of a pumpathon after a days worth of climbing. Both me and Rory did the hard climbing, only to fail matching the last hold!! It was a good day, a nice reminder as to why bouldering is also a legitimate form of climbing for me.<br />

Here Rory battles with the biting fingerlock on 'The Groove' V7. Have a look at my <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/rawtris/">Flickr</a> for more photos from the day. So for me this is the start of a season of bouldering. Having made a topo for Dinas, similar in style to 'The mothership' topo at TCA. I have plenty of problems to work through, and a lot of psyche to ride on. I've done a lot of sport climbing this year and feel like a change. The feeling of trying 100% and the non committed fun feeling of bouldering has caught up with me once again. Especially as were building a woody in our spare room at the house. I can see a lot of training, or perhaps just a lot of tendons popping over the next few months! I'm keeping weekends free for trips up to the peaks over the next few months. I've only been up there once, and need to discover much of the classic grit boulders. Having seen everyone com back from Rocklands in South Africa, I'm starting to feel the psyche to plan a trip there for next year!<br />
<br />
Finally back into blogging, like I said before I'll be keeping up with it, I'm always too slack with it all! It's quite easy to sit down and write when the weather is so bad.<br />

<br /></div>
Woow It's been ages since I updated my blog. Why? Because I've been completely slack and lost the blogging flow. It's been an unproductive summer for climbing, due to working a lot and consistently bad weather (I know it's not an excuse!). I've started editing my main timelapse of Bristol, although it didn't snow last year, and I still need to gather a couple more shots to bring it all together. I don't think i'll wait for it to snow though..<br />
<br />
This is a warm up to the main timelapse, although the exposure and angles are a bit off. I wasn't so savvy with the settings when I filmed it (early last year). Anyway here's a cheeky edit of the houses behind our house getting demolished!

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
I've just got back from hiding away on the greek island of kalymnos for 3 weeks. It appears that half of the Bristol climbing scene had also been hiding on the same island to my surprise! After having an exciting time getting to the airport and nearly missing my flight, I managed to make it to the island with David Collom, who recently messaged me on climbkalymnos.com for a climbing partner. Luckily he turned out to be a sound chap and we got to the crushing right away. I had a good first day, onsighting 3 7b's at kasteli. The next day we went to Irox at telendos with a large group with the seronade of Fat Freddy's drop under the sun on a sweet boat ride. I managed to almost flash Cuobo 7c, and got it second go.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5197/7163998220_499e8ee88b_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5197/7163998220_499e8ee88b_b.jpg" width="213" /></a></div>
After the a good start, the weather decided to crap out with hurricane style winds and the heaviest rain I've ever seen! The pond between Kalymnos and Telendos turned into a Hawaii style big wave scene and we took refuge inside for a few days, running to the crags between the storms whenever possible.
After the first week and a half, the weather started warming up and drying out. At first it was a decent 24C or so but everyday it was getting a lot hotter. By the last two weeks of the trip the temp was usually a minimum of 26 with the highest temp recorded at Babis bar of 33C!! Not exactly prime conditions. Despite this being a good excuse for me, Naomi had managed to have more success. She had been travelling for two months, with a month in Antalya, Turkey and then a month in Kalymnos. Before her trip she had only climbed 6c, and I knew she could climb much harder routes. I got her to try Dafni, 7b which she redpointed in two sessions! I then recommended Spartacus 7b+ which only took a couple of sessions as well. In all really impressive stuff, and great to see her motivation and determination! She's one to watch out for people! I've already pointed her in the direction of some good 7c's that she can easily do ;)<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Not a snorkeling day..</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
For a few days I had been working on Daniboy 8a, after doing it in two links from the ground to the half way knee bar, and from there to the top I thought it was on! The knee bar is a no hands rest but as I started finding out on redpoints, it didnt fit my leg properly. Requiring me to cam my arm in to keep the leg in, which didn't help me recover at all! As a French climber pointed out, it's only a no hands rest if your leg is long enough. After getting frustrated climbing past the knee bar with no rest, I decided the route was going to have to wait until another trip when I'm fit enough to push on without it.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7104/7164003096_7f8bbf3845_o.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7104/7164003096_7f8bbf3845_o.jpg" width="213" /></a> I moved my focus onto Marci Marc, a beautiful 7c+ coming right out of the heart of the main cave at Odyssey. The route is 35m long, probably 25 degrees overhanging and pure endurance! It starts with a v4/5 boulder which doesn't add much to the grade as there is a good hands off rest straight after. It then continues up the heart of the cave as a 7c route on reasonable holds until you get to the last set of 3 moves, probably around v4 again, with little rest before it, with big slappy moves off soapy small crimps with massively pumped forearms. (mine were anyway!) In the end I spent a few days on the route, but no cigar. On my last attempt I held the last sloper, and my heel popped a moment later just after I thought I had done it. A lesson learnt to keep concentration! This is one I'll have to finish next time as well!<br />
<br />
Not the most productive trip for hard routes for me, but the conditions were really bad which is a good excuse right?! With redpoints usually being made in 28C (shade) heat and tufa blobs having similar consistency to butter!
The last few days were good, onsighting some 7a+ and 7b's which for me is an achievement as my onsighting usually isn't that good relatively. Before the trip I had a phobia of 7a+ as I usually fall off them, but I tend to onsight every 7a and most 7b's. Luckly I managed a lot of 7a+ onsights too which is a good mental thing for myself. Tomar did well redpointing a handful of 7b/+'s and Jay did really well onsighting 7b and climbing many more mid 7's very quickly.<br />
<br />
A lot of the trip was spent at Babis' bar, with lots of swimming pool antics. It was lush getting a load of sun, and I've now changed colour to a glowing orange with most people probably thinking I've spent a month on a tanning bed in Bristol no doubt. It was a great trip, with loads of fun memories thanks to the entire Bristol crew, Seb, Jochen our german friend, Zach/Sean/Shelby the Americans, Jay and David etc!<br />

For more photos from the trip, have a look on my <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/rawtris/">FLICKR</a>. Luckly I pulled my finger out this trip with the photo's so there are actually some gems in there.<br />
<br />
I might return later in the year to clean up some routes, and as always there was so much left to try, I don't think any amount of time is long enough on the Island. It's a really enticing place to climb. The weather is usually really good, the beach is right there, the crags are mostly very near by, the food is cheap, the people are friendly and the climbing is ridiculous in nature with huge holds, which often turn into caving more than climbing!<br />
<br />
I'll post more blog posts soon, as always I become out of touch with blogging. I hope theres some people out there reading this stuff! I'll leave a video of Marci Marc, by Robbie Phillips. The move I came off 3 times was literally the last move in the video before it fades out...<br />
<br />
How can 3 and a half weeks go so fast..<br />
I'll be back!!<br />
Time for some fun in the English sun????! I'll be around all summer now for bolt clipping. Give me a call people!<br />

The trip stretd with the plan of meeting Brad at 5am at bristol airport (with our flight at 6). I got there and called him for him to tell me "Fuck, I overslept. I'll be there in a bit" and hung up on me! He had to come from Taunton and I didnt think he'd make it. Luckly he was only a minute too late so running through security we made the flight! We only had 4 days away, and as our pickup from the airport got the time wrong, we ended up getting to the olive branch with effectively 3 days. The first night we met a lot of new faces at the olive branch, many faces we new already knew like top british climber, James Mchaffe and a few familiar Britolians!. The first day we decided to walk the famous camino del rey through the gorge. The path was built in 1905 and is an 'observation walkway'. There were people dressed as santa walking it too that day but I didn't manage to document that! :( With some very dodgy makeshift via ferrata kit we set off with our solo heads on. In all honesty the path wasn't too bad, much of it had fallen away leaving big gaps where you had to walk on thin train track beams with 100's of metres of exposure each side of your feet. The holes in path made me feel a little uneasy though, as if any step could push through the floor any moment!<br />

I realised after 8 clips in, I wasn't up for it as the sun was setting, we only had two days left and more places to see. So ill have to be back next year with a weeks more time to have a good go at it! Apparently there can be as many as 14 no hands rest on this stalactite obstacle course.. although I think I only found about 2!<br />

</tbody></table>The next couple of days, we went to the big cave at 'frontalis'. I managed to onsight Poema De Roca (7a) which reminded me much of DNA at kalymnos. Brad who has climbed his maximum RP of 7a set to work but fell near the end a few times. He ended up sun bathing for a couple of days which he seemed pretty happy about anyway! I was trying 'Veijo Traidor' a hard pumpy continental style 7b+ a few routes to the right. It was a brilliant line taking on 30 metres of overhanging rock with only one semi rest near the end before some hard clips and long moves through 2 finger pockets. I put in the draws and fell near the end on the first redpoint, the sun was setting again so we came back the next day before we had to drive to Malaga and jump on the plane. I had about 3 more redpoints at Vaijo Traidor, falling off one move from the end every go. You can imagine my frustration! I guess my endurance wasn't up to it from lots of bouldering, then a few weeks off before the trip.<br />

</tbody></table>After a lot of misinformation at the airport, we ended up running to the plane with last calls for 'Tris West and "Bradley cox" even though we had been told we couldn't go through security until 40 minutes before the flight was set to leave! We had been waiting at a cafe for 3 hours just next to security! We got to the gate, I got through but they held Brad up, as the check in assistant didn't stamp his NON EU ticket. " You have to go back and get it stamped! " .. we both knew there was no time, and I made the tricky and probably selfish decision to go ahead on the plane "Brad call me if you get stuck in spain!". A few minutes later after he had managed to plead with the gate staff he made it onto the plane to my surprise! Even then the air steward was a bit suspicious why he didnt have half of his ticket (As the gate staff had torn it off). They let him on and he got sat on the plane with me taking the piss that we were going to start moving, then there would be a call for Bradley cox and the flight would turn round and he would be escorted off again! He wasn't amused. <br />
<br />
Great trip in all, got lots of sun and unless I decide to go to Thailand next year, we'll be back for more ;)<br />

This for all of us but Astrid, is our first showing of work post-graduation. Joe Rawlingson took on the role of curator organising the space and gathering the troops, so a big thanks to Joe! It's almost entirely painting and much of the work shown is portraiture and still life with some of my abstract works mixed in there. </span><br />

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">There was a great turn out and the exhibition continues for two, possibly 3 more weeks from the 21st of November, so do the maths and if you think you have time, or you happen to be in Bath go and have a look as it's a really strong exhibition! I've started painting a series of pieces for the next exhibition, It's been good to keep the ball rolling since finishing the BA and to keep it going with some momentum!</span><br />

Andy was working cider soak 8a, Sash was on Just revenge and I got straight on empire of the sun, the classic 7b (not +). A couple of whippers later and It went and then had some goes on just revenge with the others. Sash was doing very well on it, with a unique and solid way of doing the crux, hopefully it will go for him on his next go/session. It was like spain had come to the uk for a weekend. Brilliant!<br />
<br />
Andy was close on Cider soak with some good red point efforts and doing it in healthy overlaps. The question is will he delay his ferry to font for another go??! ;)<br />
<br />
Heres a video of me on Empire of the sun<br />

Although there are very limited amounts of tufas in cheddar :(<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Anyway here are my efforts on Valley of the blind, just after my shift we drove down and it went first go, it was a hard warm up! I'm making a habit of warming up on my projects at the moment.. time to push harder perhaps!<br />
<br />
excuse the rubbish quality, canon is taking forever to fix a dead pixel in my 60D so shot on the phone.<br />

I know it will go first time next time, it's just a case of getting there. As i have no wheels (other than my bicycle, which would take far too long and i have no guarantee of a belayer) I decided to whip up a Vegetable bed!</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">I looked through lots of youtube vids, articles and so on but I soon realized that the logistics would be costly and again, 8 foot planks on the bike just isn't practical!</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">Anyway, here are my efforts! </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjl8bI7MPEl_waihXBXuQM_tnb0mV3nEvW9U3JsmPsyb4PuLJudvvKlGhVS3xyiCmSolg16lx3ZRB9vljeVqUJ2zXnqvBcT3NWW54cf4hC8u_5XTJjRy7RYBkKjpvp91QYpzljmdKx10K0/s1600/IMAG0208.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="382" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjl8bI7MPEl_waihXBXuQM_tnb0mV3nEvW9U3JsmPsyb4PuLJudvvKlGhVS3xyiCmSolg16lx3ZRB9vljeVqUJ2zXnqvBcT3NWW54cf4hC8u_5XTJjRy7RYBkKjpvp91QYpzljmdKx10K0/s640/IMAG0208.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br />

More photos to come as the bodge job progresses.<br />
<br />
So far I will be planting beetroot, red lettuce, green lettuce, perpetual spinach and whatever else can grow at this time of the year!<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUDzmTHFgU0v8K5QuRSsRVFJJeOD3JLTAe11xR7PPFDmKXOsr9wHdttBTCg278V5v6n94ryt9VdHfbkj7wDCjyctfgZu-ITJ-yAf2gzEk6GNo0mBSz9kBKJ4asBVstnZg-2IdVw8NeZcE/s1600/IMG_3061.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="425" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUDzmTHFgU0v8K5QuRSsRVFJJeOD3JLTAe11xR7PPFDmKXOsr9wHdttBTCg278V5v6n94ryt9VdHfbkj7wDCjyctfgZu-ITJ-yAf2gzEk6GNo0mBSz9kBKJ4asBVstnZg-2IdVw8NeZcE/s640/IMG_3061.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>And there is the result :) The spinach is almost full size now. So here it is.. After many days worth of hours of rendering, exporting troubles, uploading troubles, codec troubles and re-editing and almost deleting the thing! I present to you, our Fontainebleau video 2011! It's my first climbing video and I've learned a lot! Psyched to make another one.. not too soon though, I need to leave the seat in front of my computer and go climbing again! Enjoy =D</div>

</a></div>I'm currently editing a short film from our bouldering trip to fontainebleau, France. I've had to learn final cut, which at first was a bit mission impossible, and then get the suitable plugins like <a href="http://youtu.be/gf_8QzOsKGo">TWIXTOR</a> for those super slow motion shots. Watch this space, it should be done later this week after countless hours of editing. <br />
